NATIONAL TOUR 2015 SELLING OUT,NEW SHOWS ADDED

 It’s been
eight years since British India embarked on their first ever Australian tour. Bolstered
by strong support from triple j, a solid touring ethic the Melbourne band ventured to remote
areas of the country rarely visited by other acts.  They quickly earned their stripes as a
household name amongst discerning music lovers, a fact which still rings true
today.

Now in
the midst of one of these very tours in support of their new album Nothing Touches Me, British India are proud
to announce extra dates for fans in Melbourne, & Sydney, following the
sell-out of their existing shows in both cities.  This is
the first time the band have performed three shows in Melbourne and two in
Sydney on the same tour, an achievement that reflects their long-term and also continually
rising popularity. The new shows bring the full run to over 22 dates, many of
which are now sold out or close to.

Released
in March, the band’s fifth album Nothing
Touches Me
scored British India a #5
ARIA chart result – their first since Thieves,
back in 2008.
It includes the singles ‘Wrong Direction’ and ‘Suddenly’ and saw them take out
the sought-after replacement slot for The Black Keys at Bluesfest last month.

 With
fans flocking to see British India perform their hit-laden sets around the
nation, younger fans won’t miss out on the
fun either, having the opportunity to see them perform in September, when they
support Imagine Dragons on their all ages Australian tour.British
India’s Perth show has now also sold out.

Tickets for
the new shows are on-sale now.
