My name is Britney, born and raised in FL. I've lived in Orlando most of my life, and i've been brought up on influences like mariah carey, jewel, sarah mcclachlan, pat benetar, and tracy chapman. My mom use to sing to me at night and once upon a time she wanted to be a singer too. Her and my father had guitars sitting up in the closet for years and when i was 16, (2 years after I started writing my own songs) I picked my moms Fender up and started teaching myself chords. It wasn't long till i was teaching myself chords on the piano as well. Music is the only thing that makes me feel free from all the worlds chaos and it's the only time i feel comfortable being vulnerable, wierd i know =).
