Honest, heartfelt music.

Biography

There is definitely something about Britni. Her music has a soul. This Frederick, Oklahoma native has been writing, performing, and building a fan base through the years and now the hard work is paying off. She has worked with some of the most popular acts in the business and has been honing her skills as a performer along the way opening for and working with people such as Jack Ingram, Jimmy LaFave, Little Big Town, Reckless Kelly, Charlie Robison, Hayes Carll, Mike McClure, Larry Joe Taylor, Michael Martin Murphy and the legendary George Jones.
Britni is a real singer who lives the life she sings about. Her music represents much of what music should be by bringing back genuine sentiment and naturalness. Her rich, honey voice has a pulse and a warmth that resonates with an undeniable charm. Britni has a born-to-it talent that just comes natural and never sounds forced.

"Gifted with an ice-blue clear voice, Hoover has a knack for not only being able to knock out the vocals on her albums but she also has a talent for choosing her material, which is very important and often problematic for new artists. A fine writer in her own right, Hoover also has the luxury of being able to have access to writers like Jack Ingram, Mickey Raphael, Blu Sanders, Keith Brown, and Randy Branhan, just to name a few. Talent attracts talent, it’s just a fact of life in the music biz." -www.austinmusiccity.com

What A Little Lonely Can Do

Written By: Britni Hoover, Keith Brown

Betcha thought I’d crumble
Baby, when you left
Thought I’d cry me a river
I haven’t yet
It’s a whole new world
And I feel so alive
Here in the company of me, myself, and I

Oh I forgot how freedom felt
Laid back girls night out
I forgot how fun it could be
Without you here with me
And I don’t need you in my life
Getting by just fine
You did my heart a favor
Boy, who knew
What a little lonely can do

I’m not here to blame you
For what you did
What’s done is done
That’s just how it is
I built my world around you
And didn’t realize
I needed to be happy not just getting by

I guess I could be angry
I could lie down and die
But everyday you’re gone is a blessing in disguise

If I Know Love

Written By: Britni Hoover, Keith Brown, Randy Branhan

You say tonight’s the night, you have no doubts
Bought a little black dress and you’re goin’ out
Gonna find someone who’ll make your dreams come true
Well you might get lucky
Girl, I hope you do

If I know, if I know, if I know love
You’ll never know just when to expect it
It’ll sneak up on you, you can’t predict it
If I, if I, if I know love
If I, if I, if I know love

You might turn some heads, probably will
But you’ll find it hard to find something real
But don’t give up don’t get down my friend
Some things in life
Well you just can’t plan

If I know, if I know, if I know love
You’ll never know just when to expect it
It’ll sneak up on you, you can’t predict it
If I, if I, if I know love
If I, if I, if I know love

It’s not up to you and me
The when and where, how love will be
It comes in time, right out of the blue

So slow down girl don’t you worry
Cause love’s a thing that you just can’t hurry
Trust me now, I’ve found it’s true
When you stop lookin’
That’s when it’ll find you

If I know, if I know, if I know love
You’ll never know just when to expect it
It’ll sneak up on you, you can’t predict it
If I, if I, if I know love
If I, if I, if I know love
If I, if I, if I know love
If I, if I, if I know love

Dreamer

Written By: Britni Hoover, Keith Brown, Randy Branhan

How much rain must fall
Before you stop believing
How many fairy tales have to burn down
What do you gotta do
To keep your plans from fading
When they’re going up in smoke all around
You…

Keep waiting on lucky
Holding out for someday
Searching the sky for a shooting star
Throwing pennies to the bottom of a well
I know it sounds funny
But the possibility it could come true
Makes life worth living
For the dreamer in you

A dreamer ever wonders
Why some have it all
And some go barely hanging on for years
Destiny is not in our hands
It’s not our call
A dreamer finds a reason to be here
They…

Tomorrow’s a gift that we all have
Another chance to put away the past
Anything could happen
Everything could change
You never know just what may come your way
So…

What You Left Behind

Written By: Britni Hoover, Keith Brown, Randy Branhan

WE WERE YOUNG
JUST FIFTEEN
THAT NIGHT WE FELT INVINCABLE
LOVE WAS EVERYTHING
BUT SUMMER PASSED
I BEGAN TO SHOW
YOU KNOW THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW
THE BABY CAME, I CAN'T BELIEVE
JUST WHAT YOU DID
YOU LEFT ME SCARED
JUST A KID HOLDING A KID

IT AIN'T FAIR NO IT AIN'T RIGHT
I COULD CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP AT NIGHT
AND WISH I NEVER GAVE MY HEART TO YOU
BUT WHEN I LOOK INTO HIS BABY BLUES
I FIND THE STRENGTH TO STRUGGLE THROUGH
YEAH, LIFE CAN BE AS CRUEL AS IT IS KIND
SOMETIMES I HATE YOU FOR LEAVING
BUT I LOVE WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND

DAYS ARE LONG
MONEY'S TIGHT
MY JOB'S NOT MUCH, BUT IT'S ENOUGH
IT GETS US BY
AND MANY NIGHTS
I WALK THESE FLOORS
I HOLD HIM CLOSE
AND WISH THAT I
COULD GIVE HIM SO MUCH MORE
THE HAPPINESS HE BRINGS
GETS ME THROUGH
THAT'S ALL I NEED FROM HIM
AND HE'S ALL I NEED FROM YOU

IT AIN'T FAIR NO IT AIN'T RIGHT
I COULD CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP AT NIGHT
AND WISH I NEVER GAVE MY HEART TO YOU
BUT WHEN I LOOK INTO HIS BABY BLUES
I FIND THE STRENGTH TO STRUGGLE THROUGH
YEAH, LIFE CAN BE AS CRUEL AS IT IS KIND
SOMETIMES I HATE YOU FOR LEAVING
BUT I LOVE WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND

A BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE, MY WHOLE LIFE
WORTH THE TEARS AND WORTH THE SACRIFICE
IF YOU CAN'T BE THE FATHER I KNOW THAT HE DESERVES
I WILL LOVE FOR TWO, YEAH LOVE HIM TILL IT HURTS

IT AIN'T FAIR NO IT AIN'T RIGHT
I COULD CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP AT NIGHT
AND WISH I NEVER GAVE MY HEART TO YOU
BUT WHEN I LOOK INTO HIS BABY BLUES
I FIND THE STRENGTH TO STRUGGLE THROUGH
YEAH, LIFE CAN BE AS CRUEL AS IT IS KIND
SOMETIMES I HATE YOU FOR LEAVING
BUT I LOVE WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND
I LOVE WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND

A Little Bit

Written By: Blu Sanders

SO YOU BELIEVED THEM
WHEN THEY WHISPERED LIKE THE WIND
AND NOW WE ARE BACK WHERE WE BEGAN
OH, AND HOW DID YOU KNOW
I WAS OKAY
YOU WERE LEAVING ANYWAY
AND I MISS YOU EVERYDAY

I’M A LITTLE BIT ANGRY
THAT’S ALRIGHT
IT’S A LITTLE BIT HARDER EVERYTIME
I’M A LITTLE BIT LUCKY
THAT’S ALRIGHT
CAUSE I’M A LITTLE BIT STRONGER

I SAW IT COMING
WE WERE RACING TO THE END
NOW THERE’S NO GOING BACK WHERE WE BEGAN
AND I LOVED YOU SO MUCH
WAS SO AFRAID BELIEVING IN YOUR TOUCH
BUT THIS TIME

CHORUS 2X

I’M JUST A LITTLE BIT ANGRY
A LITTLE BIT HARDER
A LITLLE BIT LUCKY
A LITTLE BIT STRONGER

CHORUS 2X
