"With a new album Absolutions out, singer-songwriter and former Lumberjane staff Britt Kusserow draws from life material and from her Minnesota and Indiana childhood to her adulthood living in New Zealand, Vermont, and now Los Angeles. She sings with a wisdom far beyond her thirty-one years with an adaptive sound similar to Indigo Girls or Chely Wright and lyric crafting akin to Joni Mitchell or James Taylor, yet all completely Britt Kusserow." - AVN Today
Reasons why she’s awesome:
-She plays the guitar – very well!
-She has shows in nice coffeehouses
-She has really cool hair
-She has the voice of an beautiful unicorn angel
-She writes great lyrics - The Girl Crowd

Bio
Britt Kusserow is a singer-songwriter with wandering feet. She has traveled, lived, and performed in various parts of New Zealand, as well as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, the American Midwest, and Vermont.
Britt writes about women, ships, and the universe, and acknowledges she knows very little about any of those things. Lyrically based, Britt's songs are mostly inspired by (and born out of) angry chick rock, slow dancing with self-conscious alt-folk.
Called an "immense talent" (Vents Mag), with the "voice of a magical unicorn angel" (The Girl Crowd), Britt has garnered positive critical acclaim from those seeking to discover talents on the verge.
