Bio
Growing up, I have always been interested in music. I have played a variety of instruments including: Violin,Cello,Guitar,Bass and piano.
I joined the school choir from a young age and performed many times.
I was about 12 years old when I started to write songs. It was a way of getting all of my feelings out of my head and into the world. As I got older, I gained more knowledge about songwriting and entered WAM Song of the year when I was 13.
I was so happy when I found out that I had gotten into the top five for my category!
I attended the awards night and was amazed at all the different artists and the atmosphere of having all of these creative people in one room! It was a really amazing experience.
Even though I didnt win, It gave me so much confidence in myself and my songwriting started to improve.
Angus and Julia Stone are my biggest influences. I love their unique acoustic sound and how they tell stories through their songs. I think their music is really beautifull.
I believe in being honest in my songs. So when I write, it comes from the heart. My most hidden feelings and thoughts come out in my songs and they really mean a lot to me.
When someone asks me what my songs are about, I say that it can be about anything they want. Because I think music means something different to everyone. And everyone relates to a song in a different way. And thats what I love about music. It all comes down to how you interpret it.
