"Brittany Smooch: A Force to be Reckoned With"

The CD ranges from upbeat rap tracks such as “Super Turnt Up” (which you can’t help but move your feet) to a slower, groovier sound heard in “Hostage” and “You’re the Type of Guy.” Though Brittany’s musical influences (which include Fergie, Lil Kim and perhaps a smattering of Nicki Minaj) shine through in most tracks, each of her songs wonderfully demonstrates her creativity and unique talent; she debuts a style that is unquestionably Brittany Smooch. “Smooch” showcases a selection of tracks from Brittany’s upcoming full-length album, which is scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2013. -

Still working on that hot first release.

I was fortunate to enjoy the urban culture and independence that growing up in NYC allows for without giving in to the negative influences that often go a long with teenage city life. I was encouraged by my mother to translate my experiences into lyrics and gave me Logic Pro for my 15th birthday. Soon after, I began working with my first musical influence, Tony Donelson (AKA Carlos Bling) and recorded a demo. Once completed, my mother took the demo to Los Angeles where it quickly garnered interest from music industry heavy weights. It was then that I teamed up with award winning hip hop writer Earl Hayes, who was at the time signed by Interscope records through Dr Dre and Timberland with a catalog that features Puff Daddy, Gucci Mane, Limp Bizcuit, Keri Hilson, Usher, Lil Jon, and many more. Very quickly, Hayes realized the raw talent and powerful story of my life, and we began an on-going collaboration that produced Brittany s song, Your the Type of Guy. We also collaborated with Young Money artist Lil Twist on the record Kamikaze produced by award winning producer Prime Maximus. Hayes and I continue to write and record together and look forward to putting out more tracks in the very near future. These songs will give the listener a glimpse into my world.

I would classify my music as hip hop with a fresh electronic sound. Currently I am performing for audiences all over the country and making music and friends while doing it.

I credit Lil Kim, Brittany Spears, Nicky Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Shania Twain as some of my musical influences
