You might not expect a blue-jean clad, boot-wearing cowboy who has shared the stage with top country acts to have a passion for classic crooners like Nat King Cole, Perry Como and Tony Bennett. Then it’s time to introduce you to singing sensation, Britt Hammond. The handsome 6’4” native Texas talent is a genuine “Country Crooner.”
Born in El Paso, Texas, one of four children, Britt was named for his father's uncle, Britton Davis, a 19th century Calvary officer who chased Geronimo. Britt spent much of his adult life-playing clubs strewn throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. Britt has experienced much of what life and Texas has to offer which even includes bull riding. Britt Hammond and The B-3 Band
Britt Hammond isn't a fresh name in the music industry- or in Dallas. Britt started performing in the middle 80's and hasn't stopped since. Touring all around the world including Europe and Texas. He mainly focused on Country main stream and his own orginals untill recently. He realized in order to broaden his fan base he would have to include more classic rock, dance and pop tunes. Enter, Kirsten Paludan, Britt's sister. Her talent is somewhere between the Satuan and Mars. She has such a talent for the pop classics and dance she is so entertaining to watch and hear those classic and current tunes it becomes magic. Stage left comes Britt's son, Tyler, 21 and widely talented and growing into his performace on guitar as well for his love and respect for Texas artist such as Jack Ingram and Pat Green. Tyler has begun his own style that he's beginning to feel his way onto the stage and will become widely popular in the coming years. Just remember the name Tyler Hammond- it will be someone not to forget. Lastly but most importantly: The band. The B3's are made up of some of Dallas's premier musicans from left to right- Billy McCoy, Lead, Steel gutairs and BG vocals, Billy Freemen, Drums, Curtis Randall, Bass and BGV, Dale Morris & Steve Story, Fiddle and BGV, Brad Near, Keyboards with Gilbert Gonzolas as our engineer. Each one of these gents are 4-star in their own right. They each posses at least 1 decade of performing with national acts from Charliey Pride to Marty Stuart, WIllie Nelson and Merle Haggard to George Strait to Janie Frickie. It's no wonder Britt and his troop are purchased for at Private and Corporate events and work well with agencies from across the globe- they all understand what it takes to make it happen. Please take a listen and compare. We're not just another country band. Britt will and can add additional intrsuments such as Sax, Trombone and Trumpet if need 'em. We also perform as a Acoustic as well. Something lite and background is always something to consider.
