Bio
I'm 22 years old and been gigging in Barrie since August of 2010.
I am a solo, female left handed guitar player who has over 120 songs available for covers and approximately 1 hours worth of original material. I sing in both French and English and some of my popular requests are "Bobby McGee" and "Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin and "Sweet Child O' Mine" - Guns 'N Roses.
I started playing guitar at the age of 9 and have been writing original material and learning covers since I was 12. I fell in love with Rock a long time ago and when I was introduced to the blues I fell in love. My biggest musical inspirations are Janis Joplin and Melissa Etheridge and I think I would probably die if I ever got the chance to meet the latter.
From a professional standpoint, I have never played a venue that has not asked me back and as the only professional Female in my city I am well respected by other venues and artists performing in town.
In the short time that I've been gigging I have won three Battle of the Bands, performed on New Years Eve, St Patricks Day and Canada day at very well known venues on the downtown strip and have consistently continued to rebook myself over and over again expanding my venues and styles of music.
Because of my notoriety in town, this year I have been nominated for Best Female at the Barrie New Music Festival 2011.
