Lyrics

Brother

Written By: Brittney Mitchell

Bottled every demon that you made
Inside they're multiplying
You hope in time the contents fade
For your sake, I hope you're right
Read me a story
Im longing for new scenery
Live to hate this bed where you have laid
Dreading the night
Dont give up the fight

Sing to me, brother
Open and honestly
Sing to me, brother
I am listening
Discard your father
I'll always know I tried
Sing to me, brother
I am always by your side

Slipping away from view
I am following your stare
You're searching, I am too
With broken sight
Where are you going?
Your emptiness cannot be filled this way
I'll be here, I'll be here
Holding the light
To lift up the night

Sing to me, brother
Open and honestly
Sing to me, brother
I am listening
Help one another
Or fall beneath the tide
Sing to me, brother
I am always by your side

Reach to me, brother
One more step, then you're free
Don't give up, brother

Sing to me, brother
Open and honestly
Sing to me, brother
I am listening
I am listening
Sing to me, brother
Sing to me, brother
Sing to me, brother
I'll be here
I'll be here
Just be here

Jagged Lullaby

Written By: Brittney Mitchell

Say it now and let it end
Erase you from my mind
Been here before and I'm back here again
Embraced rewind
That's it, I'm through
Wish that we knew
I do, but true ~ it's over due
Say it now... Then I will too

This has gone too deep
We are walking sleep
Moving forward ~ never knowing
Grasping for goodbye
Jagged lullaby
Playing slowly for you only
...And still means nothing

Say it now and let it end
Erase me from your sight
Been here before but never again
Alas, you're right
I couldn't see
Then there was me unhappily down on one knee
Proposing settling

This has gone too deep
We are walking sleep
Moving forward ~ never knowing
Never meets the eye
And you all knew why
I never learn, I never learn
And still means nothing

Shot down again
You steal my heart, then stole my gun
I'm shot down again
Learn your lesson, girl, and run

This has gone too deep
We are walking sleep
Moving forward ~ never knowing
Grasping for goodbye
Jagged lullaby... Bye
Jagged lullaby
I never learn, I never
Jagged lullaby
I never learn...

Alone By Accident

Written By: Brittney Mitchell

Sinking
I'm sinking

Solid ground seems so foreign
The entice: contemplated it only twice

Underneath I'm dragging myself down
And fall instead?
It's all in my head

I'm alone by accident
But I think that it was on purpose
Sorted through my loneliness
To find a great illusion

Matching
I've forgotten how it works
Seemingly perfect until I go lose it all
I tried

Underneath I'm dragging myself down
And fall instead?
It's all in my head

I'm alone by accident
But I think that it was on purpose
Sorted through my loneliness
To find a great illusion

To find a great illusion in my head

Sinking...

Falter

Written By: Brittney Mitchell

I cry at your feet
Feeling ever so completely Incomplete
Yet through the rain
Ive regained my clarity

So dry up your skies
This haze works in your favor
Covering my eyes
Yet through it all
I still call this Home

The lights beat down
I saw you crumble
My knees gave out
Before you stumble
I leave the floor and need you more
And this is where you always falter

We left long ago
Far from the life they know
New silver skies below

The lights beat down
I saw you crumble
My knees gave out
Before you stumble
I leave the floor and need you more
And this is where you always falter

You walk without shoes
You wait, you wait
It comes in twos
We talk, win or lose
You wait, you wait
And you wait

The lights beat down
I saw you crumble
My knees gave out
Before you stumble
I leave the floor and need you more
And this is where I always crumble
This is where I always stumble
And this is where I always falter
