Bio
Britton Roberts was born and raised on the not so mean streets of Cleveland Ohio. His father a guitar strumming preacher man and his mother skillfully wielding violin in one hand and the Good Book in the other, Britton’s destiny laid out before him like the felt board characters of his youth.
Shuttled between piano lessons, school recitals and Christmas choirs, music has always been an inseparable way of life. “music explores what can’t be said and what can’t be ignored,” says Britton. “it both leads us to places familiar and places we’ve never been.”
After picking up the guitar in high school to meet girls Britton made a new discovery. “They weren’t that impressed.” But the guitar stuck and quickly became the weapon of choice. “It’s really easy to play.”
In the years to follow, Britton would join bands, record albums and perform for big shots and no shots. Now mid way to a mid life crisis, he is striking out on his own.
