Broadkast has spent time singing, rapping, working on songwriting and production in New York, where he was born and raised. At the age of seventeen he moved to the west coast were he perfected his talents.
As a child he was greatly influenced by the sounds of Jazz, R&B, and Gospel music. These sounds were often from his own living room, where his father and many other musicians would often rehearse. These influences later went on to work with such names as Madonna, Sting, Joe Sample, Miles Davis, and Jennifer Lopez, just to name a few. Broadkast stands out as prolific in his own right as a singer, entertainer, song writer, and producer. Broadkast has become the R&B singer that rapper's call to get the Hook down with his catchy chorus and smooth R&B Hip Hop flow. He has truly made a name for himself, from working on compilations, CD's etc.
As a performer he has opened up for Jim Jones of Dipset, Pitbull, Lil Webbie, Lil Flip, Zro, Too Short, Xzibit, LA Symphony and 4th Ave. Jones, who are some of the most recognized Hip-Hop artist today. As a singer / rapper and producer he has worked in over 100 shows in the California, New York and Texas area. He has worked with producers such as Rafael Torres who has work with Zelma Davis (Formerly of C&C Music Factory), Miestro who has toured with Stevie Wonder etc. also David Lowe, who's worked with Ahmad from 4th Ave. Jones and KP, who has produced for Aaliayh, KC & Joe Joe from Jodeci and 2 Pac.
