Bio
Bro. Bishop was born as Venus Stinson Jr in Fort Pierce, FL in 1981. As a child, he always knew he wanted to excel in music. He got his first shot at the age of 9 when he and his family Gospel group, God's New Creation, were in concert with the famed Williams Brothers. Since then, Venus, now known as Bishop, continued to perfect his craft. Seeing how God gave Bishop the gift of music at a very early age, Bishop has never stopped playing the keyboard and he has always continued to pursue a career in the music industry.
Bishop later started a rap group called FTL which was based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The group performed shows with The Ying Yang Twins, Trick Daddy, and many more. But Bishop felt that something was not right. So he decided to give up rapping for the world and rap for Christ. Bishop has since written and recorded many songs illustrating the power of God in his life. Bishop's main goal is to reach today's youth and everyone that is in need of God's love by giving his testimonies through music.
