Bio

Brock Storm Timmerman was born and raised in the small agricultural town of Lake City, FL. At the tender age of four, he developed an extreme interest in music, and made his first live appearance at five years old at his aunt's wedding. From that day forward, Brock knew he was destined to do something special with his life. Finding it difficult to get exposure living in a small town, Brock began entertaining the locals at nearby festivals and events. It wasn't long before Brock Storm was a household name in his home-town. Even at that young age, Brock realized he needed to travel to bigger places to reach his dreams of becoming a famous recording star.

At the age of ten, Brock began traveling the nation, performing nearly every weekend at any gig he could snag. He eventually went to Nashville, Tennessee to record his first original demo with some of the industry's finest producers and musicians. Brock's songs "Crazy for the Girl" and "She leaves it, like he left it" ranked among the top ten requested songs at local radio stations for several weeks. The pre-teen singer was really beginning to catch the eye of a lot of people, Brock appeared on "It's Showtime at the Apollo", "Jenny Jones: Kids That Rock!", and the "Children's Miracle Network Telethon" all before his thirteenth birthday.

In 2003, Brock was discovered singing at events and showcases around the Orlando area. At the time, he was trying to discover who he truly was as an artist stylistically. Brock had been brought up on folk artists such as Garth Brooks, Patsy Cline, and John C. Mellencamp but, he found that he liked going beyond his roots, without forgetting them, to take him places that he had never been. He discovered ways to combine pop music with his southern roots to create his own original sound. That year, Brock recorded two songs that were written and produced by Ashley Angel, who was a part of MTV’s Making the Band's super group, O-town. In 2004, Brock was chosen out of thousands to perform on PAX TV'S "America's Most Talented Kids". His rendition of the Backstreet Boy's "Quit Playin' Games With My Heart" added many fans, specifically young girls, to the rising artist's fan base. With over ten years of hard work, this teen has over 400 shows under his belt and has opened for superstars Demi Lovato, Aly & AJ and Keke Palmer.

Now at the age of nineteen, Brock Storm is one of the freshest new pop acts on the rise. In the past year, Brock has teamed up with such writers and producers as Robbie Nevil (Hanna Montana, Jesse McCartney, High School Musical), Andrew Fromm (Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney, Sidh Solanki (Busted), Marc Nelkin (Marie Digby, Corinne Bailey Rae), Drew Ryan Scott and Gabe Lopez(Varsity Fanclub) to bring a brand new sound to the pop music scene. Brock continues to record new material with some of the biggest writers in pop music and is finding fans among radio stations and young fans around the country. With Brock's signature sound and rock edge, he is sure to catch the attention of many people around the world. BROCK STORM ROCKS!
