About Brody Caster

Brody has
always loved music; he got his first guitar at age 8, and hasn’t put it down
since. “I grew up listening to all types of country music: Red Dirt,
Mainstream, Traditional, and Western Swing. You name it, I’ve probably heard
it.” Caster's dad, however, grew up in the 70’s and fell in love with the
Mo-town and Hippie movements. “I have many influences when it comes to music,
but some of my biggest would have to be Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, the
Beach Boys, Dion and the Belmonts, and Sam Cooke.”

Caster grew up in the small town of
Douglass, Kansas, a town of about 2000 people about 45 minutes southeast of Wichita. “I’m just a country boy from a small town who loves music, it’s as
simple as that.” He spent many hot summer afternoons floating down the river or having a bonfire with his buddies. "I’m very thankful for
having the opportunity to grow up in a small town because I couldn’t last five
minutes in a big city.”  Once his music career took off, Caster traveled far from his home into major cities and venues. Among various performances at fairs,
festivals, bars, and dance halls in his nearby territory, Caster has also performed on two of America’s most
prestigious stages: Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry.

“I’ve been so blessed to have had this
many opportunities so far in music and I can’t wait to see what else will come.
I’m still so young!” Young is right. Caster, at 22 years old, has already shared the stage with some of country music’s biggest stars like Charlie Daniels, Casey Donahew, Josh Thompson, and Phil Vassar to name a few.  “In high school I was
involved in choral music. I got the opportunity to audition for National Honor
Choir after making it into the Kansas State honor choir. The concert was at the
Grand Ole Opry, so, of course I auditioned! I was so stoked when I got the call
saying that I was selected into National Honor Choir.”  The night before the performance, Rascal
Flatts, Sara Evans, Terri Clark, and the cast of the ABC show Nashville were
there. “It was so cool to get to perform on the same stage the next day!”

Caster has released two albums, and is
currently in the studio working on new material. “Small Town World,” in 2015,
and his most recent venture, “Just Gettin’ Started,” in 2017. The single “Queen
of Memphis” and hit #15 on the European Country music charts; the
follow up track, “Trojan Horse” peaked at #12.

“I just love performing. I have always
jumped at the chance to sing and play in front of people. I am thankful for
everything I have accomplished so far, but I can’t wait to get out there and
accomplish more!” Brody Caster has his sights set high, and he will be a name all country fans know in the future.
