Bio
Broken Windows is an art-punk foursome based out of Athens, GA. The band's self-titled debut is set to be released in May of 2017. The album opens with the sound of sirens as a riot rages in the streets, and ends with a meditation on the WWII-era treatment of Japanese-Americans, a parallel to modern times. In between, the band's songs touch on mass incarceration, social isolation, heartbreak, and more generally- what it's like to be alive in 2017.
