"Broken Day CD Review"

“Broken Day truly deserves a shot at the big time in today’s mainstream Rock & Roll arena! Their debut CD is fresh, full of many surprises, and good tunes with good hooks. I recently caught a live performance at The High Dive in Champaign, IL. There’s no doubt that they are a strong live performance band with good stage presence. This band has high energy, and best of all, great audience response. As they say in the industry, this package is a hit!”
~ Terry Luttrell, Original lead singer of REO Speedwagon and Starcastle - Terry Luttrell

"Broken Day CD review"

It’s hard to believe that this is Broken Day’s first album. Their sound is confident, straightforward, and overall very well produced, showcasing the group’s musical abilities perfectly. They can only keep going up from here. This is the perfect album to build what is sure to become a strong and lasting fan base.”

Bio

Broken Day is a unique three piece rock band from Champaign-Urbana, the hometown of the University of Illinois. After forming in the summer of 2003 they wrote their first album and started recording it after being a band for 3 months. After their bass player moved in late 2005, they decided to go a route that only a few have done successfully and have custom guitars made with seperate bass pickups and outputs. The setup also uses a modified bass amp and must be seen/heard to be believed. It works! Broken Day has had the honor of sharing the stage with bands such as Local H, Modern Day Zero, The Junior Varsity, The Dog and Everything, and many more national and regional artists. With 2006 underway the band looks forward to finishing their second album and playing as many shows as possible.
