"Excerpts from listener reviews on Amazon.com"

“They play tight and clean and produce a sound that resonates in your chest without sounding like scribble. This is the kind of sound that replaces air in your lungs and forces your pulse to match the beat. It's simple, it's primal, and it's effective.”

“This is heavy AND interesting music, instead of HEAVY and "so what?" It's a great balance of intensity and lumbering (in an AWESOME way) pulverization. And the guitar tones are ridiculously great (crystal clear, yet range from warmly saturated to crushingly hard), as are the crazy riffs--the perfect balance between dissonance, pure heaviness, technical (in a "good" way), and unpredictable rhythms. (The overall sound quality (bass/drums/vocals) is also stellar.) You GOTTA see these guys (and gal!) live!!!! ”

“this band covers all that i love about metal... stomping riffs, bluesy grooves and the subtle accents that good musicians put into their tunes. the drumming is killer and the guitar tone is magically delicious.”

“The guitar work is just phenomenal, and the female vocalist is a refreshing sound in a male dominated role. This is a great EP and is surely just a taste of what is to come from Broken Decency.”

“It's so good to hear some REAL singing over such a hard, brutal, head banging, kick ass rhythm section. The vocal melodies cutting through the mix really takes all the instruments (including vocals, of course) brings the whole level up a notch.”

Bio

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Broken Decency has been writing their own brand of melodic heavy metal since first joining forces in 2006. The band throws many diverse influences into the mix, from Deftones to Fiona Apple. They blend crushing riffs and breakdowns with soulful vocals and haunting lyrics. This is evidenced by their 2010 self-titled E.P. as well as their 2009 debut release, “Words Skinned Through Teeth”.

Vocalist Celia Naulls, guitarist Daniel Saunders, and drummer Alexander Moscatelli pride themselves on their uncompromising live performances. Their energetic shows deliver pure, unadulterated sonic power and are nothing short of visceral, sure to turn heads and start a pit.

Aggressive and raw, progressive and refined, Broken Decency wants nothing more than to share their vision with fans of heavy music everywhere.
