Bio

First let me start by thanking everyone for taking the time to check out our band. We appreciate the support of our friends, family and other bands and bars that have supported us.

We have a unique style of music that sets us apart from other bands around. Everyone who has heard our music has had real positive feeling toward us. We dont believe in writing lyrics that have a negative message toward others. Most of the lyrics that we write come from the everyday issues that have been in our lives and the lives of the ones we care about. I personally believe this is why most people have gravitated toward our music.

The vocals are a mixture of Daughtry, Live, Staind, Shinedown and Stone Temple Pilots. The vocals range from soft and smooth, to raspy with authority and all the way to high and fluctuating. Very unique. Our singer (Chuck Michaels) has the ability for us to cover any style of music that we want (when we perform cover music for people or bars). Chuck has had opportunities to sign recording deals in the past, but decided that those opportunities werent with the right band members, so thought it was for the best to wait for better opportunities in the future with the right guys. He feels that a band is a family who should be there for each other and support each other. This is what was missing when he sang for others. Chuck decided to start his own band and Broken Fayth was born.

3 short months and 2 demo CDs later, the band had positioned themselves to become something very special. Like most bands, there has been bumps in the road and changes had to be made along the way. After Chuck had formed Broken Fayth he had added his drummer and bassist, making the band a 3pc. Since that time, the former Bassist had to be let go and another Bassist (Andrew Brill, 2011-Present) was brought in. Brill is actually married to Chucks cousin and has added much needed stage presence to the band. A Guitarist (Jimmy Stakem, 2011-2012) was brought in to add a missing element to the band, but has since left the band to enlist in the Military. Chuck decided to hang up the guitar on stage and become a true front man. Chucks own cousin joined the band (John Leitzel, 2012-Present), a true lead guitarist who elevated the band to another level with his shreading guitar. After Jimmy left, the band added a new guitarist (2012-Present, Bill Michael). Bill like Andrew also married one of Chucks cousins, making Broken Fayth into even more of a family band. Bills hard nosed attention to detail and perfectionism is just what the band needed to take them yet to an even higher level. Although sorry to see the original drummer (Daniel Herner, 2011-2012) go, the band added a veteran drummer with over 25 years of experience (Wayne Bixler, 2012-Present). Waynes crisp timing, fantastic drum rolls and over-the-top stage presence as put Broken Fayth into the level to compete with the biggest of bands.

If you ever get the opportunity to see and hear a Broken Fayth show, its a show you will not forget. You will leave satisfied that you heard and saw a band that gave you every pennies worth and more! This is our promise to you... Everything we have... Every single member... Every singe song... Every single night! You will remember the songs... You will remember the show... and you will remember the mind blowing vocals! Get ready world... Broken Fayth is here to stay for a long, long time.

Keep rocking and thanks for the support,
Broken Fayth
