Broken Hip

Broken Hip has been a popular feature at festivals, corporate events, parties and clubs around Chicagoland since 2004. The past few years has found the band engaging audience members of all ages. The energy of their performances makes Broken Hip one of the most entertaining bands around. With each member having been in the business for over a quarter century, the band immediately began playing at small venues locally. Broken Hip has since been performing in clubs, at private parties, has hosted open mic nights, and has headlined the Annual Taste of Roselle every year since its formation. Broken Hip has also headlined Arlington Park Racetrack, as well as Lamb's Farm for its 1st and 3rd Annual Barn Burner Festivals. The Hip has also been a feature at many other festivals, including the Taste of Park Ridge, the Mt. Prospect Lion's Club Festival, and as Montgomery Fest's headlining act. After the festival season ends, Broken Hip plays corporate parties and upscale clubs, such as The Avenue Alehouse in Oak Park, and Harry's of Arlington in Arlington Heights. Broken Hip performs material by artists such as No Doubt, Kelly Clarkson, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Blondie, The Pretenders, Pink, and on and on...with one of Chicago’s best female singers (who also alternates between playing bass and rhythm guitar), the best female lead guitarist in the city, a slick bass player and one of the hardest-hitting drummers in the area, there's bound to be something for everyone...find out for yourself!
