Who is Broken Image? Before you can answer this question, you must look at all Broken Image has done in the past three or so years. Broken Image has played more than their fair share of live shows around the Denver metro are and in other places. They have enjoyed respectable airplay on a few of Denver’s most prominent radio stations, and they were even featured in a contest on Denver’s most popular Classic Rock station. They have played, and dominated, a few local band battles, and draw some of the largest crowds in the local Denver music scene. They have gone to the studio twice in under a year, and produced records that are unique from any other band in the scene today. Blending harsh screams with ripping guitars, thundering bass with intricate drums, Broken Image has found a style and technique that they can truly call their own.
So, back to the question at hand; who is Broken Image? Broken Image is a band consisting of five guys whose work ethic in the Denver music scene is rare, if duplicated. Each member of the band brings something different to the plate, ranging from a knowledge of Classic Rock, Blues, and good old fashioned Rock ‘N Roll, to Metal, Hardcore, and Nü-Metal. Together, they create a sound that is difficult to toss into any of these heavier genres, without disrespect to the others. The truth is, there is no set definition of Broken Image. Each show brings something different. The only thing you can count on is that, when these five guys take the stage, you are in for an energetic, crowd-involved, and crowd pleasing experience that will not leave you disappointed.
