In 2004, the group released their debut album “HEAT” which received local praise including City Weekly’s “Top 50” of the year and gained them nation-wide support, interviews, and radio appearances.
During a temporary hiatus in 2006, members of the band took time to pursue out-of-state schooling in audio production and engineering which led to many collaborative projects and relationship building within the industry. In January 2011, Broken Silence hooked up with SLC record label Arterial Records for the release of their sophomore effort “We See Everything – EP”. The EP was well received locally and nationally, and is carried in record stores including Grey Whale and Uprok. The EP is also available on all major digital platforms including iTunes, AmazonMP3, and CDbaby. With their heavy buzz, a full length LP and Tour slated for 2013, new music videos, and well known artist collaborations, the sky is the limit for Broken Silence.
