Brooke Palsson is one of Canada's most talented up and coming singer/songwriters. With her infectious voice and unique stylings on the ukulele, Brooke is a force to be reckoned with. At the age of 19, Brooke has already accomplished a great deal in her lifetime. Known internationally for her work as a leading role in the HBO hit series, Less Than Kind, Brooke has created a presence in the entertainment world. Brooke has already received numerous awards and accolades for her performances, most recently being Winner of The Best Female Performer at The 11th Annual Canadian Comedy Awards, The 2010 Canadian Comedy Awards, Best performance by an Ensemble Winner - 2010 Gemini Awards, Best Comedy Program or Series and Nomination - 2009 Gemini Awards, Best Individual Performance in a Comedy Program or Series, all for the HBO series, "Less Than Kind".
Although Brooke is an accomplished actress, her greatest passion is music. Since the age of 12, Brooke has been composing and performing original music. She has had her music features in television programs including "Less Than Kind" and "Flashpoint". Brooke has also been performing regularly at The Park Theatre (Winnipeg), The 460 (Toronto), Free Times Cafe (Toronto), The Cameron House (Toronto), and The Supermarket (Toronto). With a growing fan base and interest building among the music industry, Brooke's next essential step to strengthen and build her career is to record a ten song album.
