Bio
Brookfields sound and show can be summed up with two words: Power and Energy. Fusing the power of rock, the energy of punk, the positivity of Reggae, and the intricacies of funk, Brookfield delivers it all in their music and in their shows. This sound originates from such influences as 311, Incubus and a lot of bands that to many have gone unheard. Brookfield is a band that simply needs to be heard for their sound to be captured.
Lead singer Mike Jerdans lyrics are honest, instill positivity and are deep, yet accessible. Add this to his warm voice and his undeniably handsome features, and you have a formidable lead vocalist.
Identical twin brothers Adam (Guitars) and Matthew Bilz (Drums) hold degrees in music that give them the edge of conservatory training, but combined with their true raw influences such as Nirvana and Dream Theater, they take their music to the next level. Add to that the bond of twins and you have a unique blend of brotherhood and musical integrity.
Bassist Justin Steuer is a man born to perform. His talent on his instrument is matched by his unforgettable stage performance. With more energy than is seemingly possible, Justin has no problem keeping the crowds ears and eyes busy while Brookfield is on stage.
After performing in such bands as The Missing Lance Project, Hello Leonard, Fourth Year and Junky, Brookfield has a wide range of experience and influences that meld into a truly unique sound.
Brookfield promises to deliver Power and Energy on stage and is a band that should be closely followed in the coming days. Music is their single passion and they will let nothing stop them from sharing their passion with one and all.
