GOSPEL music fans will soon be introduced to new urban alternative sounds.
Mpumalanga-born and raised artist Mark Silinda, pictured, will serenade his fans with his new offering.
He spent much of his childhood in church as his father was a minister.
He cites J Moss, Kim Barrel, Anthony Hamilton, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond as his musical influences.
His often chameleon-like image and genre-bending musical style have made him alternately revered and reviled among fans. Nonetheless, he has carved out a niche for himself as a formidable vocalist, and prolific songwriter and record producer.
After honing his producing skills with a series of experimental independent recordings, Silinda has released his debut album, Thy Kingdom Come.
Silinda studied bio-medicine at the Vaal University of Technology where he plans to launch his debut album soon. - EDWARD TSUMELE

Born Gospel Mark Silinda in 1982 July 25 by a pastor and a renowned guitarist, he is an anointed man of God who ministers the word of God in song. BrosGospel is a songster, song-writer and music producer who holds a living testimony of the power of the name Jesus Christ and the faith that comes through that name; and his music testifies that Jesus is Lord and He is coming back soon. Gospel brings the subject of Gods love in all his compositions and enhances it with his golden and anointed voice.
Thy Kingdom come is not BrosGospels debut album, he had released and Afro soul/pop album which he pulled off from due to the conviction of the Holy Spirit who compelled him strictly to answer to his calling and do Gods ordained ministry. What does it profits a man to gain the whole world and yet loses his soul, by the grace and mercy of God I gave it all up and I am now running a good race of faith, preaching to the whole world the good news of the kingdom of God, he says.
Thy Kingdom come is a fresh sound and soulful project with strong African rhythm praise, jazzy undertones worship offering. Its a double disc where disc 1 is comprised of 12 songs that will take you to a three-phased praise and worship dimensions; which are: the outer court, the inner court and the holy of holies! And disc 2 is comprised of 8 soulful house/praise songs (Lets dance in the house of the Lord) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
