Formed in the spring of 2007 Brothas Keepa has become a staple on the music scene in the 7 cities area of Va. With strong root influences from Jazz, Gospel, R&B, Soul and a very real understanding of various other genre's, BK has been able to infuse the core sound of the band with everything from Hip-Hop and Roots Reggae to Rock. As the band has matured and incorporated members from all walks of life to include Hampton University grads working along side local mechanics and carpenters to create a sound that is uniquely their own. The ability to appeal to various musical tastes by mixing the qualities of trained musicians and the simplicity of self taught
