Bio

Jenoid Jackson was born in Kinston, NC as the only child on August 20, 1987. Growing up as the only child, was a challenge for him adapting to life without the fellowship of sisters and brothers. In spite of being the only child, God was gracious to give him a caring and loving family. He remembered his upbringing and the church being the backbone of his family structure. Even though he understood the importance of accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior, it was still hard for him to live a Godly lifestyle in his teenage years. At a young age he begin to experience the pressure of his peers and the temptations from the streets. He begin to experiment with drugs and alcohol due to his, influences and it being very easy to find. Back in the early 2000's he began to venture into gang activity and found himself an enemy to his own success. He knew that wasn't the road he wanted to take. Thing got better for Jenoid when he became employed part time working in fast food at McDonalds making minimum wage as a part time cook after school. That's where Jenoid, begin to understand what hard work was and his attitude changed from a non productive citizen to a hard working young man. He begin to build relationships with his co-workers and that's where he linked up with George Williams. They both found a common interest in music, which developed into a career path for them. Back in 2005 George Williams and Jenoid Jackson decided to attend college together at the School of Communication Arts for recording engineering in Raleigh, North Carolina. During college he again fell back into the trap of being influenced by the streets and the Hip Hop culture. He got off focus and begin to give his time to hustling drugs and living the party life. Like a lot of youth today, he was heavily influenced by the culture of Hip Hop and the results of that made him live the opposite lifestyle of a Godly character. The path he was taking begin to take it's toll when he realized that he was not living how he said he would live when he left home. In conclusion to that some friends from college began to witness to him about living for Christ at a young age. In 2008 he gave his life over to Christ and begin to use his gifts that where given through God to serve a divine purpose for his glory. From the time he was thirteen he wrote and created music from his home recording studio, but he never thought he could use his gifts for Christ. He decided to take his gifts and develop them for making not just music, but Christian Rap music for the youth. Jenoid aka Brotha Wyze is now the Co-Founder of Get-A-Grip Ministry. G.G.M is an Urban Outreach Music Ministry founded by him and George Williams. There goal is to do God's will, help others and teach the true gospel all across the globe through ministry music.
