Bio
Brother Andrew is a original music act formed by Andrew Robinson. His act was formed in 2015 as a way to release original music apart from his previous band Underwater Country Club who remained on a permanent hiatus. His musical style incorporates modern elements of electronic instruments, fuzzed out guitar heavy riffs, and a uniquing poignant writing style, meticulously crafted. Comparable acts would be LCD Soundsystem, The Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys, and Tom Waits.
While living in New York City and gigging for NYU's theatre program as a guitar player, Andrew Robinson found himself in front of large groups of unknown audiences for which he would often have the opportunity to play his own original music for. A few shows turned into residencies and invitations to songwriters contests throughout the city. He has opened for musical acts Lucy Wainwright, and Matthew Vasquez of the Delta Spirit.
In 2016 Brother Andrew released his first EP entitled "Baby Brother" while simultaneously touring the east the west coast. In 2017 Brother Andrew is set to release his sophmore EP entitled "Oh Brother"
