Bio

Brother Howe is a Country Punk band that hails from the humble town of Holland, Michigan. What is Country Punk? Lead singer Jason Howe said this,

"I heard the term Alternative Country and I pictured Alternative Rock, with it's rough, raw, high energy sound applied to Country music. But few people did music the way I heard it in my head, mixing those elements of punk, country and rock and roll. Country Punk."

Formed in June of 2003, Brother Howe?s live shows are fast, raw and fun, featuring tight harmonies and lots of whooping, hollering, and sweating.

Their self-recorded, 11-song debut album titled "Rock 'N Roll Country" features straight ahead rock and punk songs and their own brand of country punk. The sound is unique, upbeat and catchy.

Fans of 50's rockabilly and bands such as Social Distortion, Reverend Horton Heat, Uncle Tupelo, Hank Williams III, the Old 97's, White Stripes, Foo Fighters and Green Day will enjoy this band.

As the name implies, Brother Howe is a family affair with Jason Howe on electric guitar and lead vocals, his wife Jeri Howe on acoustic guitar, brother Nathan Howe on bass and Ash Snyder on drums.
