Brother Lew - Artist-Writer - Author - Minister -Event Coordinator - Has been using Rap & Hip Hop going on 20 years. Eventhough he has been into Holy Hip Hop longer than many starting in Ohio in
1988 Brother Lew's vision was to reach souls, His mission is to use Holy Hip Hop wherever he can to bring the Gospel. He reached his short term goals through concerts, workshops, and speaking engagements. From the first rap he heard "Those are the Breaks" from Kurtis blow in the early 80's drew Brother Lew into Rap, but actually being Saved, Born Again, and Filled with the Holy Spirit, influenced his entire mission. Brother Lew has personally ministered to over 300,000 people, and has had more than 500,000 downloads between his videos and free songs wolrdwide. He has helped mentored more than 300 groups and individuals throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico. Brother Lew has also united rappers and promoters throughout the USA in Artist Showcases, Conferences, & Concerts and has brought many to sing and rap in area neighborhoods, detention centers, and community outreach centers.
Brother Lew's last indie CD "Thug Life RIP " said it all about Brother Lew's and what he expected to accomplish, and that was to reach two million souls for this season in Holy Hip Hop as an artist and minister. Celebrating 20 years in August 2008, BrotherLew will only do some guest recordings on various albums and help promote, manage and book artist and bands after September 2008. He will speak on topics such as; Marketing yourself, your CD and your Label, and will be availbable for conferences, workshops, record label consultations, business seminars and ministry workshops.
