Biography

Andy Gerome, guitarist/vocalist hailing from Cleveland, Ohio has many accolades to his credit. From singing and playing guitar for the legendary "Savoy Brown" to vocal performances on TV/Movie scores, Andy has worn, and worn well, many hats in the music world.
Not just a musician/singer/composer, Andy has produced and engineered for many industry luminaries, nationally and internationally. Included in this list is his own Solo album," Miles of Horizon", an intriguing instrumental journey into Blues Rock and Jazz.
Andy brings a mature and yet vibrant energy to Brother Rock and his Solo work. Somethings have to be learned with time and experience, and obviously Andy has learned well.

Randy Gabbard, guitarist/vocalist is, in a phrase a "Dedicated Rocker", who has been playing this game for many, many years. From the Cincinnati area, he proudly waves the flag of "Industrial Belt Rock-n-Roll", and has done so over most of the U.S. and Canada.
From back-up musician to Frontman/Solo performer, Randy has seen the music industry from just about every angle. As founder of Brother Rock, he has brought this dedication and scope to a band after his own heart, literally. Working with his sons in a Rock-n-roll outfit has proven to be the culmination of a 30+ year search. Tapping into the energy of youth, the "Old Man" has a fresh focus and vitality........and it ROCKS. Lucky him and lucky us!!!!!

These Sons we spoke of are Stephen(drums) and Jackson(bass). Though left to their own career devices, by order of their mother(with threats of bodily harm, because one musician in the family is enough) these youngest installments to the family nonetheless emerged with a growing interest in music.
Stephen began drumming as an early teenager. Now twenty-one, he has progressed rapidly, with influences from Aerosmith to Fear Factory to Faith No More. Having played in metal bands for years, Stephen's full range of ability has remained untapped. A range more fully exploited as he lays down the rock and blues beats for Brother Rock.

As a bass player, Jackson began on a whim, playing a bass left over by the bass player in his first band, in which he played keyboards. Fascinated by the possibilities of the instrument, Jackson's influences include Free, Primus, James Gang, and the Deftones.
The brothers have played together since they began playing, sharing the stage for years in their former groups, Buckfifty, Persona, and Brokenvein. Now, the two form the well-jelled rhythm section for Brother Rock.

Lyrics

Most Important Person

Written By: Randy Gabbard

I said, excuse me,
I’m the one who cuts in front of you, darlin’
Yeah, when it’s checkout time.
Ploppin’ down my fifteen items, yeah
In that “Cash only, ten item” line, yes sir.
If that ain’t enough,
To make you want to break my neck.
When they give me my total,
I say, I’m paying with a check, uh huh.

*Chorus -
I said excuse me,
But don’t you know who I am,
I’m the most important person in the world.
I said excuse me,
But don’t you know who I am,
The most important person in the world.

(Repeat)

I’m in my element, baby yeah
When I’m behind the wheel.
You know I’ve got my red “S” on,
When I’m in my rollin’ coat of steel,
What a feel.
You were born under a very bad sign,
If your in my path, in my path.
You’d just better hope and pray,
That I’ve got room to pass,
Honk, honk, baby yeah.
At the intersection,
Tryin’ to take your turn, no way.
You’re first right after me,
And as I zoom by I say,

*Chorus

I might be a neighbor,
I might be your boss,
I might be your lover,
Who can count the cost.
I might be your banker,
Might be your preacher man,
No matter where I am in this life,
Your gonna understand,
Your gonna understand,

*Chorus

River of Love

Written By: Randy Gabbard

I ain’t no street corner prophet,
Come to show you the way.
Ain’t no wise man,
Who’s got all the right things to say, no.
But there is one thing,
That I know to be true.
There’s a God up there,
And He loves me and you, yeah.

Lord, it’s easy to forget,
Just why we are here.
It’s hard to stay focused,
With this world tuggin’ at your ear,
(and tug it does)
When it gets too crazy,
And starts to turn you around,
There’s a river,
You can jump right in and drown.

Cause,
There’s a River of Love
That flows from Above,
Can’t you feel it?
There’s a River of Love
That flows from Above,
Won’t you let it in?

Folks think I’m stupid
For what I believe, that’s OK
Pray I can stay stupid
Until that Judgement Day.
Cause I know,
By my God’s saving grace,
I’ll be there,
With a big old stupid smile
On my face, yes sir.

Cause,
There’s a River of Love
That flows from Above,
Can’t you feel it.
There’s a River of Love
That flows from Above,
Won’t you let it in.

You (and Your Love)

Written By: Randy Gabbard

I would walk across this land,
With my shoelaces tied together.
Stand buck-naked in Siberia,
Never even think about the weather.
Dive the deepest ocean,
Get you the biggest pearl
I could get.
Or go up north
And kick a grizzly bear’s butt,
So I could give him to you,
As a pet.
I know you think that I’m crazy,
Your friends think so too.
This is just a little samplin’
Of all the things that I’d do.

Do for you……..and your love,
Talkin’ bout you,you,you,you,you
And your love.

I would hitch a ride on the shuttle,
Bring you back a fallin’ star.
Build you a sixty room castle,
‘Cause you’re the queen you are.
Take you piggy-back up K-2,
So you could see,
What you could see.
Get myself tattooed up,
In black and yellow stripes.
So I could be your honey-bee.
I know you think that I’m crazy,
Your friends think so too.
This is just a little samplin’
Of all the things that I’d do.

Do for you……..and your love,
Talkin’ about you,you,you,you,you
And your love.

I have never been all that stable,
I was holdin’ it together, just fine.
Till you went ahead and kissed me, child
And drove me right over that line,
Pushed me right over that line.
(Chorus)
It was you, child, it was you.
Yeah, it was you
Oh, it was you
Baby,baby,baby, it was you
Did you know it was you?
Whoa
