With a combined 20+ years of Gospel Hip Hop ministry involvement, Brothers Inc. 4 Da Lord is a pioneering force in this genre. Being pioneers does not automatically make them the best, however, their experience gives them an edge above most groups actively ministering today.
Bert Bocachica is the director of Rap Fest, Inc., a Bronx-based ministry that produces one of the largest Gospel Hip Hop events in the country every year. Bert's passion for reaching lives (especially the youth) does not end at rapping.
Bert and his wife, Alice, are the directors of Christian Education at their church, Westchester Christian Worship Center in White Plains, NY. They are also members of the WCWC Worship Team. There are no limits as to how far Bert would go to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and impact lives.
Bert has three wonderful kids; Kaleena, Justin and CJ.
Efrain Alicea has been rapping just as long as Bert has. Brother E stands apart from the rest as being one of the first Christian rappers to travel with a live band. His unique style and deep theological lyrics are stand-alone sermons. Why wait until the end to give all you have when you can do it song after song.
Brother E is currently the Associate Pastor at Promised Land Church in the Bronx, NY, a new church plant pastored by his long time friend and ministry associate Pastor Mike Carrion. Brother E and his wife, Erika, work side by side in the ministry.
Along with Bert, Brother E is a member of the powerful Storytellas ministry which is under the direction of Pastor Joseph Henry Cortese of Crossroads Tabernacle. Acting, singing, dancing, comedy... whatever it takes to reach our generations.. E is there.
Manny has been involved with Brothers Inc. since about 1999. He was the first DJ at a Rap Fest event and since then he has not left Brothers Inc's side. Together with Bert and E, Nu Man has been ministering to thousands of youth yearly.
Before being to DJ for Brothers Inc, Nu Man was a major DJ out in the mainstream world. His love for music has not changed but his passion and desires have shifted to the true source: Jesus Christ.
Aside from being a DJ, Manny, and his wife Nelddie, are part of the Youth leadership team at Westchester Christian Worship Center in White Plains, NY. From weekly youth nights or retreats to district, national and state wide events, Manny gives his all for the youth.
Being the parent of his own two children, Felipe and Melody, Manny understands the importance of being relevant to the youth in today's society.
Together, Brothers Inc. 4 Da' Lord strive to continue impacting lives worldwide. Not restricted to any age groups in particular, their music is cross generational and their message is universal. They understand the importance of preaching the truth and do not compromise one bit in doing so.
