"Winners Concert of the International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition"

The Brown/England Duo was distinquished by its professional competence and poise in their performance of Spanish music. - New York Concert Review Magazine

"Salt Lake Symphony performs with artistry"

Duo pianists Lenora Brown and Gaye England were the evening's soloists in Francis Poulenc's rarely heard Concerto for two pianos from 1932.

The two pianists exhibited wonderful artistry in their technical command of their instrument as well as in their exceptional musicality. Their playing was intuitive and infused with insight and a finely honed grasp of the music. They captured the tantalizing playfulness and wit of the work, as well as its earnestness. The concerto is a true tour de fouce for the soloists in its virtuosic writing, and Brown and England delivered a performance that sparkled. - Deseret Morning News
