Brownian Motion

BandFolkFunk

Poised to re-energise the UK New Acoustic scene, Emily Browne and her co-conspirators have been perfecting their unique fusion of funk, folk and guitar attitude since 2009. Now boasting a full set of original songs that showcase Browne's unforgettable vocal talents. Brownian Motion are on the move.

Biography

Brownian Motion were formed in 2009 when Emily started working with Russ, a local guitar and bass player. They have played a number of acoustic gigs at venues around the Midlands and Oxfordshire since then and have just released a promo EP which was recorded "as live" with additional keyboards. They intend to play live as much as possible this year while working on some new material and have plans to record and produce a debut album for 2012 release.

Emily's voice has been widely praised and compared to some great singers including Joni Mitchell and Sandy Denny. She draws from a wide influence of singers and bands such as Suzanne Vega, Gomez, Ben Folds and Turin Brakes. We hope you enjoy listening to their music!

"She's got rhythm, she's got soul, she's got sensitivity, she's just got it."
Benjamin Zephaniah
