Bio
Playing the club circuit in NYC during the late 90's, Bruce produced his first record titled "Bebo live in NYC". It was a solo acoustic live album recorded over the course of several performances in 1999 at clubs such as The Mercury Lounge, The Living Room, CB's Gallery 313, The Fort at The Sidewalk & Baby Jupiter. Bruce moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and continued performing on the club circuit across Southern California. He began work on his 2nd record in late 2002; however, in 2003, he was rapidly losing his hearing due to a disease known as otosclerosis. Over the course of the next four years Bruce underwent 4 surgeries at The House Ear Clinic in LA, CA. which managed to restore some of Bruce’s hearing. Bruce now has prosthetic bones in both of his ears and wears hearing aids but thanks God he can still hear. He finally finished the 2nd record, "Platinum Pennies" and as of June 2nd, 2009 it was released worldwide on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon MP3, Amie Street, Shockhound, eMusic and IMVU. “Platinum Pennies” is his first studio effort and a testament to Bruce's fight for his hearing. Bruce's musical style is a confluence of acoustic rock, funk, blues and jazz all wrapped together in the package of a singer songwriter. His vibe is upbeat and keeps any educated listener on their toes via his smooth stylistic shifts, creative song writing, and introspective lyrics. Bruce weaves melodies and harmonies into songs that get inside your head and stay there.
