I was blown away by this cd! From start to finish this is the best music I have heard in years. I have a small number of favorite guitarists and Bruce just went to the top of the list! You need to let this music sink in and take you away, it's a great ride. Go for a drive and turn it up !

superb! a real return to racer x style shredding form.

if you missed him in recent racer x albums then this should show what Bruce is still capable of.

Masterpiece"
author: Marguerite

The album title Unspoken references only the absence of vocals in the 10 tracks of this instrumental rock album.

Starting with the first track, ÒHot RailsÓ the listener is taken on a journey of pure imagery through a fluid, melodic balance of technique and emotion. This journey continues throughout the final track, ÒSleepwalkingÓ.

Mr. Bouillet demonstrates amazing dexterity, mastery and grace with the guitar while capturing the essence of the rock and blues idiom. His tasteful fretwork, mesmerizing melodies and rhythmic purity allows the unique and distinct qualities of the guitar to speak directly to the listener.

The title ÒUnspokenÓ and the simplicity of the packaging is elegantly understated and very fitting. Mr.Bouillet speaks volumes with the release of this solo album.

Masterful...
author: Barry / NES

We've been waiting a long time to see Bruce Bouillet emerge back into the music scene with guitar work such at this. Released as he was coming off of G3 as part of Paul Gilbert's touring band, this material is certainly a reminder of why Bruce is a man unto himself. With blistering leads and swooning melodies, this album both shows that Bruce can still play with the best of them and that he is more than just a fretburner. The music is dark, but more in the sense of sadness than anger. Check out tracks such as the opening "Hot Rails" for speed, while look to songs such as "Crackerhead" and "Cruising Altitude" for an emotional well. Whatever you do, don't miss out on this sign of things to come!
