Bruiser

BandRock

Biography

With Joe Daniels on drums (previously of Local H), Dan Stock on guitar and lead vocals, and Mark “Clarke” Mills on bass, the band professionally known as “Bruiser” collectively epitomize the definition of “Rock.”

Established in 2005, Bruiser has slammed on the stages of some of Chicago’s premiere venues, including but not limited to the Metro and the Double Door. In the Fall of 2006, Bruiser crafted a full-length album entitled “Fantastic Theory” with the assistance of Producer Steven Haigler (Fuel, As Tall as the Lions, The Pixies, Quicksand, Local H), and the former Chief Mastering Engineer for A&M Records, Dave Collins (Soundgarden, Q.O.T.S.A., Porno for Pyros). “Fantastic Theory” represents Bruiser’s most eclectic, versatile collaboration to date--diverse, untainted vocals, impeccable, fierce drum lines, and bass lines that embody the connectivity between the melodies and the rhythm.

In that respect, Bruiser’s sound, style and technique, coupled with their unrivaled stage presence, revitalizes what rock once represented, and what it will inevitably return to. As such, Bruiser hopes that you will extend to them the opportunity to perform at your event.
