Biography

Bryan Cole may not have been “born in the backwoods” as his breakout hit single, “I’m Comin’ Home” suggests, but that doesn’t mean that this amazing new country artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is a city-slicker by any means. Passed down by three generations of family before him, you might say that “country” runs long and deep in Bryan’s veins; just as the three rivers of his beloved hometown run into the waters of the Mississippi. By embracing the traditions of yesteryears’ legendary performers, while honing his own God-given vocal and guitar-playing abilities, Bryan Cole has cultivated a sound that is nothing short of INCREDIBLE.

With the release of his debut CD, Wide Open Road (Perfect Vision), Bryan showcased his signature sound to the world. Featuring soaring vocal landscapes and skillful, melody-laden guitar licks, this Chuck Ainlay (Sugarland, George Strait) produced disc garnered critical praise since its February 2010 release. Wide Open Road includes the top-notch skills of such stalwart session players as Mark Greenwood (Garth Brooks,) Jimmy Mattingly (Garth, Reba McEntire,) Steve Hinson (Randy Travis,) Michael Rojas (Lady Antebellum,) and Jimmy Nichols (Faith Hill.) Wide Open Road, which remained in the top 10 on the Roots Report Pop Country Chart for over 4 months, is a timeless collection of twelve compositions by Bryan and his longtime collaborator and manager, Michael Stover of MTS Management, as well as such heavyweight tunesmiths as Kent Blazy and Tom Paden, writers of Bryan’s second single, “It All Comes Back to Me.”

Following up the astonishing international success of “I’m Comin’ Home,” (#1 US Indie World, #11 Italy, #17 Switzerland, #23 Norway, #27 Austria) Bryan rose to the top of the charts once again with “It All Comes Back to Me.” The second release from Wide Open Road, the song hit both the radio and music video charts (#14 Cashbox, #9 MySpace Videos, #10 Y’allWire.) His third single, “If Only” charted in the US Top 5 (#4 Cashbox) and received more international airplay than any other of his songs to date.

Now, Bryan is returning with “Pride And The Passion,” the first single from his upcoming album, scheduled for November release. This sing-along song, with it’s patriotic, work-hard-play-hard message, was written and produced by Cole and Stover. Sure to connect with Bryan’s fans, as well as country music lovers worldwide, “Pride And The Passion” will be heard in the upcoming television ads for Bryan’s hometown baseball franchise, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

While chart success has been extremely gratifying for him, Bryan finds his true rewards through the lending of his time and talents to charitable causes. Whether it’s by performing at fundraising events, being a part of the Armed Forces Entertainment roster, donating tracks to charity CDs like the upcoming Joey’s Song (Epilepsy Foundation,) or by sharing proceeds from his music (proceeds from “I’m Comin’ Home” were donated to the Animal Rescue League of Western PA) Bryan has found that success can be measured not only by his position on the charts, but also by his ability to use his gifts to help worthy causes.

In addition to his involvement with charitable enterprises, Bryan also endorses products that he PERSONALLY uses—made by companies with integrity. Among these products are Bailey hats,, GHS strings, Geezer cabinets, Voodoo Labs and Rocktron effects, and Dunlop and In-Tune guitar picks, who are currently manufacturing the prototype for the Bryan Cole signature pick.

Timeless family tradition, tremendous God-given talent, a strong faith and commitment to charity—these are the things that have endeared Bryan Cole to his devoted fans. And, at the end of the day, he is grateful for each and every one. Bryan’s gratitude was rewarded by receiving 3 nominations (most of any artist) at the 2010 Pittsburgh Music Awards, a coveted NMW Magazine Award nomination for Best New Country Artist, and a nomination for Best Country Album at the 10th Annual Independent Music Awards. “My fans are my lifeblood. Their love and support inspire me to be the best man I can be—on and off the stage.”

Lyrics

It All Comes Back to Me

Written By: Tom PadenKent Blazy

PULLING IN TO MY HOMETOWN
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
A MILLION MEMORIES CRASHING DOWN
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
THOUGHT I’D LEFT THIS PLACE FOREVER
I WAS CHASING BIGGER DREAMS
BUT AT THE CITY LIMIT SIGN
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
THOUGHT I WOULD SET THIS WORLD ON FIRE
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
NOW I’M DRIVING IN ON FOUR BALD TIRES
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
EVERYONE I MEET REMEMBERS
JUST WHO I USED TO BE
THE RIGHT AND WRONG
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
BRIDGE
EVERY ROAD I’VE TRAVELLED, EVERY DEAD END STREET
WHAT I’VE LOST AND WHAT I’VE GAINED
EVERY DREAM THAT’S DIED, EVERY TEAR I’VE CRIED
I’VE ONLY GOT MYSELF TO BLAME
LOOKS LIKE WHAT GOES AROUND COMES BACK AROUND
IT TOOK SOME TIME BUT I’M FINALLY LEARNING HOW
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
INSTRUMENTAL
TO CHANGE MY LIFE AND START AGAIN
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
TO FIND THE PLACE WHERE I FIT IN
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME
WITH A LITTLE HOPE AND COURAGE
I’LL HAVE THE STRENGTH I NEED
WHATEVER LIES AHEAD
IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME

If Only

Written By: Tom Paden/Pat Durbin

IF ONLY I HAD PAID ATTENTION
TO WHAT YOU NEEDED FROM ME
I WOULD HAVE SEEN WHAT YOU WERE MISSING
IN THE MAN I PROMISED YOU I’D BE

AND IF ONLY I HAD LISTENED
TO WHAT YOUR HEART WAS TRYING TO SAY
THEN I WOULDN’T BE HERE WISHING
FOR THE LOVE THAT I LET SLIP AWAY

CHORUS 1
AND EVERYDAY THAT GOES BY NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY
I CAN’T CHANGE THE PAST AND I CAN’T BRING YOU BACK
AND ALL THE THINGS I DIDN’T DO AND THE PAIN I PUT YOU THRU
I CROSSED THAT LINE AND IT WAS MORE THAN LOVE ALLOWED
IF ONLY I’D KNOWN THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW

IF ONLY I COULD MAKE A HAPPY ENDING
WAVE A MAGIC WAND AND TOUCH YOUR HEART
BUT WHAT’S THE USE IN ME PRETENDING
WHEN I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE YOU ARE

CHORUS 2
AND EVERYDAY THAT GOES BY NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY
I CAN’T CHANGE THE PAST, NO I CAN’T BRING YOU BACK
SO IT’S TIME I LET YOU GO, TAKE MY REGRETS ON DOWN THE ROAD
LEARN TO FACE THE TRUTH THAT I COULDN’T FACE BEFORE
IF ONLY DOESN’T MATTER ANYMORE

TAG
WHEN IT COMES TO ME AND YOU
IF ONLY DOESN’T MATTER ANYMORE

Mobile Home

Written By: Charles Davis/Tom Paden/Evans Davis

AIRSTREAM TRAILER ON THE BACK OF MY FORD
RAND McNALLY MAP ON MY DASHBOARD
A TOWN WAS JUST A PLACE TO GAS UP AND LEAVE
TIL I SAW HER THERE AT THE TASTEE-FREEZE
SHE TOOK MY MONEY AND STOLE MY HEART
AND EVER SINCE THEN THAT TRAILER’S BEEN PARKED
SHE MADE A ROCK FROM A ROLLING STONE
SHE TOOK THE MOBILE OUT OF MOBILE HOME

CHORUS
IT’S UP ON BLOCKS WITH A WRAP AROUND PORCH
PINK FLAMINGOS AND A TIKI TORCH
I’M LIVING A LIFE I’VE NEVER KNOWN
SHE TOOK THE MOBILE OUT OF MOBILE HOME
SHE TOOK THE MOBILE OUT OF MOBILE HOME

I GOT A STEADY JOB DOWN AT TRIPLE A
GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY WHERE WE BOTH GOT SAVED
TRADED IN MY TRUCK FOR A MINI VAN
TO HAUL AROUND THE KIDS, I’M A FAMILY MAN
BARBECUING WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD
I OWE IT ALL TO MY BABY MAKING LIFE SO GOOD
THIS RAMBLIN MAN DON’T NEED TO ROAM
SHE TOOK THE MOBILE OUT OF MOBILE HOME

REPEAT CHORUS

INSTRUMENTAL

I’M PLANTING SEEDS I’VE NEVER SOWN
SHE TOOK THE MOBILE OUT OF MOBILE HOME
SHE TOOK THE MOBILE OUT OF MOBILE HOME

I'm Comin' Home

Written By: Michael Stover/Bryan Cole

I was born in the backwoods
On a forgotten autumn day
I used to run thru the fields
I used to roll in the hay
Thought those days would last forever
‘Til they took my home away
I guess someone must have listened to me pray, ‘cause

I’m Comin’ Home
to a second chance at life
To a second chance at love
To a place where I belong
I’m Comin’ Home
And with all I have to give
I will give with all my heart
Well, it’s like I’ve never gone
I’m Comin’ Home

Well, I’ve walked among the lonely
Spent my nights inside this shell
I wished someone would just rescue me
Come and save me from this Hell
All the pain that I have witnessed
All the scars I have will tell
But the lessons that I’ve learned will serve me well, ‘cause

I’m Comin’ Home
to a second chance at life
To a second chance at love
To a place where I belong
I’m Comin’ Home
And with all I have to give
I will give with all my heart
Well, it’s like I’ve never gone
I’m Comin’ Home

Where the faith and hope surround me
I’ve got lovin’ arms around me
I’m Comin’ Home
Where I’m secure and safe forever
And I’ll no longer be alone

I’m Comin’ Home
To a perfect way of life
To a perfect world of love
To a place where I belong
I’m Comin’ Home
And with all I have to give
I will give with all my heart
Well, it’s like I’ve never gone
I’m Comin’ Home

Pride And The Passion

Written By: Michael Stover/Bryan Cole

HEY HEY HEY HEY

I wanna take you down where the rivers run
Down to my home in the city
Workin’ like a dog, ‘til we have some fun
If you wanna go, sing with me

HEY HEY HEY HEY

Proud to be a patriot of my hometown
Lovin’ every dang thing about it
Baseball, apple pie and the country sound
If you love it too, then shout it

HEY HEY HEY HEY

‘Cause when we get together
After workin’ all day long
There just ain’t nothin’ better
When they play our favorite song
Singin’,

(CHORUS)
Hey (hey) What you wanna say?
It’s our pride and our passion that’ll take us all the way
Hey (hey) What you gonna do?
It’s the pride and the passion
It’s the Red, White and the Blue
We’ve talked the talk, now let’s kick a little action
The Pride and the Passion

HEY HEY HEY HEY

Born to be a brother of my neighborhood
Don’t you know we always bring it
Celebratin’ life cause you know it’s good
Come on let me hear you sing it

HEY HEY HEY HEY

Cause when we come to party
Everybody wants to play
Let’s get this whole thing started
We can shout all night and day
Singin’

(CHORUS)
PRE
(CHORUS)
We’ve walked the walk
Now it’s time for satisfaction
The Pride and the Passion
HEY HEY HEY HEY
