Biography

Coming from a classic rock and gospel influence growing up the songwriting always went every where and because of this Bryan acquired the ability to play various instruments spanning from the guitar, bass guitar, percussion, keyboards, and blues harps.

At 16 Bryan recorded his first demo with his group "a seventh day" and quickly grabbed local attention as a singer songwriter. All threw out high school Bryan toured coffee houses and local bookstores and eventually rolled threw colleges. One of most notable performances of this time period was a show at Ohio State University with the Barry Blankenship Band. State festivals where a great place to promote local music growing up in the Ohio valley.

During his senior he recorded his first full length Independent release and continued to tour small venues and coffee houses.

Since those early days of playing and gaining Bryan has recorded the album "Surrender". The first solo album in over five years. Surrender began on an experiment that will remain history. The story is bittersweet.

Bryan constantly contacted different places shopping his demo's and trying to grab attention from big labels to distribute the music. A couple songs were recorded for a well established booking agency out in Los Angeles all primarily with the intent to be "radio worthy". When the deal fell threw with the agency, Bryan began working with great intensity to make an album that could be around for generations.

So he did what any tormented artist would do with his passions; he locked himself in his recording studio for an entire year. He began picking threw various instruments, tones, shapes, and sounds to get the best melody for each song. Every song on this disc has countless hours of focus, making each song a listening experience whether in the car, or in a nice set of head phones.

When the songs became too big for one person to bare, Bryan hooked up with Sacred Sound and recorded tracks with Andrew D'Cagna who mixed the CD and co-produced several songs. This is when the CD took life.

Songs like "stand up become", "own me", and "the uncertain" contain big choruses and huge bass lines. "Surrender", the title track, delivers a power vocal performance with stripped instrumentation with the bare bones quality of old rock. Experimental songs on the cd like "empty is me" and "a thought in the a.m" contain dark atmospheres and create a story with epic paportions.
