Bio
I was born in Fullham East, London England in 1963. I witnessed alot of great classic rock music growing up and have been singing since I could talk. I started playing in Bands at around 12 and sang in several serious heavy rock bands like 'Liquid Pearl' and 'The Omen' in high school. We recorded several demo's of original material for contest like Homegrown in the 80's.
When I was 21 I got the old band back together again and we added a Sax and Keyboards under the name 'Images'. We recorded a complete album of original songs which were submitted to the president of Columbia Records (our keyboard players father) He in turn gave it to producer Jack Richardson who wanted to get us into the studio. Unfortunately, the bass player got greedy and copyrighted all the music in his own name. He fired the members and hired new ones without telling anyone. When Jack heard the new band he dropped them.
After that fiasco, I decided music was a bit too cut throat for me and started a different career in computers. I put music aside to pursue that career and raise a family for the past 25 years.
Now I've come back to my first love and am ready to really work at this and make it as successful as my IT career was.
I currently live in Prince Edward County, Ontario CANADA. This is a fantastic place that is an artists and musicians dream. There are so many talented people all around to talk to and jam with that it's inspired me to begin writing seriously again and trying to get my music recorded, published and or sold to other artists.
Recently, I've been publishing some of my songs on www.stereofame.com/bryan_persaud. The response has been truly amazing. The recordings are very rought, but the feedback I've received about the quality of the songwriting has convinced me that I have something special to offer.
I recently wrote two songs (Days of Torture & Little Sally) for a short film 'Mr. MetroSexual' which was written and produced by my best friend Jake Kowalski which I also edited.
