Mystical Plants is the funkiest band of Eastern-Hungary and they definitely deserve more attention than they had in the past. Their repertoire is pretty awesome for sure. Since the start Mystical Plants has released two beautiful albums, one in 2006 -Use Your Head- and the second in 2011 -The Harvest. Their music is touching and well crafted, with brilliant English lyrics sung by Bryant Goodman.
This time they drop a 4 tracker EP called Positivity with a flashy CGI video for the title song.

Positivity blends the modern funk-rock sound with electronica and this construction makes a heavy and pumping song. Kid Panel and Clairvo have created a heavy wobbling remix under their Lack Jemmon alias. They took the best parts of the original mix to create their ghetto-funk-break monster.
Gimme Sum already played by the national radio in the past months. It’s a bit different from the title song but still funky enough with its rich rhythm patterns and keyboard riffs. A radio friendly tune for sure. Gimme Sum also has a club oriented remix version made by Human Tornado – a side project of Balázs Béla – the mind behind Mystcal Plants.
This EP has no pause and deserves your attention.
