Bio

bryan Titus grew up in New England by way of Cambridge, England & Kyoto, Japan. His father was an academic and classically trained Violinist, while his mother was a farmer's daughter with a beautiful and honest voice. Having grown up in a house resonating with folk, bluegrass, spirituals, classical, the Beatles, the Doors & U2, music has always been a main-stay in bryan's life.

bryan's musical studies began at age 4 with Violin & the Suzuki method. Ever independent, self-teaching and accidental discoveries inevitably lead to bryan playing the guitar as well. In a continued search for musical discovery, Bryan earned a bachelor of music degree in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA before moving to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his ambitions as a songwriter.

Along the way, bryan has played in orchestras, string quartets, Japanese punk bands, talent show winning original bands, power-pop college rock groups, but now focuses mainly on writing and performing his original blend of Singer/Songwriter, Americana and Acoustic based music.

Having assembled a great group of musicians, over the course of a year, spanning 2009 into 2010, bryan wrote, recorded, and produced an entirely self-funded and independently released debut album titled "... anymore". The record features the production and guitar work of long-time friend and co-writer, Jonathan Weed, the drumming and percussion of Jeremy Miller and Will Weissman on the electric Bass. Other featured musicians include funk-soul-boogie goddess Charlie Superfly, Skip Edwards (of Dwight Yoakam's band), and touring and studio session keyboardist Gerry Mattei, among others.

The record calls on the diverse influences of all the musicians to create a true American melting pot of music ... the high energy stage shows continue to draw and grow an audience in bryan's adopted home of Los Angeles.
