Bryan Weirmier is a songwriter/producer/musician based in Oshawa, ON Canada.
He won the Canadian Music Publishers’ Association Songwriting Scholarship while studying record production at Fanshawe College's Music Industry Arts Program in London, ON.
No stranger to the stage, Bryan performed over 500 international dates from 2002-2007 with Roots group Tanglefoot (Best Vocal Group – 2007 Canadian Folk Music Awards) including the re-dedication ceremony for the Vimy Ridge Memorial in France and a luncheon at the NASA Langley Research Center for an auditorium full of rocket scientists.
In 2005 Bryan released a self-titled solo EP featuring his song How Could I (Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition). The song was also recorded by Suzana Da Camara on her debut release produced by Jack Richardson (The Guess Who, Bob Seger, Alice Cooper).
After deciding to start a family, leaving behind the touring-musician lifestyle finally made sense. Bryan has since shifted his focus to music production and synch-licensing for film, television and advertising.
Both a classically trained pianist and self-taught-strummer, Bryan's music ranges from organic, roots-driven pop/rock to emotive instrumental piano work.
His self-penned ‘Cause I Get to Love You was a Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Other highlights include feature placements on The Ghost Whisperer & The Young and the Restless.
