Bryan Weirmier is a songwriter/producer/musician based in Oshawa, ON Canada.

He won the Canadian Music Publishers’ Association Songwriting Scholarship while studying record production at Fanshawe College's Music Industry Arts Program in London, ON.

No stranger to the stage, Bryan performed over 500 international dates from 2002-2007 with Roots group Tanglefoot (Best Vocal Group – 2007 Canadian Folk Music Awards) including the re-dedication ceremony for the Vimy Ridge Memorial in France and a luncheon at the NASA Langley Research Center for an auditorium full of rocket scientists.

In 2005 Bryan released a self-titled solo EP featuring his song How Could I (Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition).  The song was also recorded by Suzana Da Camara on her debut release produced by Jack Richardson (The Guess Who, Bob Seger, Alice Cooper).

After deciding to start a family, leaving behind the touring-musician lifestyle finally made sense.  Bryan has since shifted his focus to music production and synch-licensing for film, television and advertising.

Both a classically trained pianist and self-taught-strummer, Bryan's music ranges from organic, roots-driven pop/rock to emotive instrumental piano work.

His self-penned ‘Cause I Get to Love You was a Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.  Other highlights include feature placements on The Ghost Whisperer & The Young and the Restless.

Lyrics

Cause I Get to Love You

Written By: Bryan Weirmier

It doesn't matter honey
If the weatherman's wrong
Don't need a raincoat
Even if the clouds come along
You're the reason
At the end of the day
Cause I get to love you babe
I get to love you babe

I don't worry 'bout
What used to keep me up late
Now I know for sure
There's no such thing as mistakes
You're the reason
At the end of the day
Cause I get to love you babe
I get to love you babe

Faith changes like the weather
But love pulls a man together
Truth is I'm lost
Lost without you

I used to question everything
My eyes couldn't see
Never been religous man
But now I believe
You're the reason
At the end of the day
Cause I get to love you babe
I get to love you babe

Freedom

Written By: Bryan Weirmier

IN THE TIME WHEN
RIGHT WAS WRONG AND WRONG WAS RIGHT
WE WERE YOUNG THEN
AND WE TRAVELED AT NIGHT
ON THE FRONTIER
WHERE THE ACTION FIGURES RUN
IN THE SANDBOX
WE'D GET DIRTY FOR FUN

I KNOW WE'RE GONNA DIE SOMEDAY
BUT THAT'S THE PRICE YOU PAY FOR

FREEDOM
IT'S A LONG ROAD TO THE NORTH BUT YOU RUN ON
GONNA GET THERE SOMEDAY IT'S JUST THAT
FREEDOM'S SUCH A LONELY PLACE TO BE
IN THE MEANTIME

SO WE WOKE UP
AND THE FUTURE WAS HERE
WE SAT UP AND THE DREAM DISAPPEARED
WE WERE WITH YOU
'BOUT A MILE AFTER THAT
WE LOST YOU
NOW WE WANT YOU BACK

I KNOW WE'RE GONNA DIE SOMEDAY
BUT THAT'S THE PRICE YOU PAY FOR

FREEDOM
IT'S A LONG ROAD TO THE NORTH BUT YOU RUN ON
GONNA GET THERE SOMEDAY IT'S JUST THAT
FREEDOM'S SUCH A LONELY PLACE TO BE
IN THE MEANTIME
