"BRYNN MARIE – Things Change – CD review"

Where have you been all my life? Well, obviously you weren’t born for a large part of it, but the fact that Brynn Marie has been singing without my knowledge is just wrong. In case you’re wondering this is modern country, but the finest modern country I’ve heard in a long time. And despite my proximity to the Arctic Circle, country music has played a large part in my life, so I kind of know what I’m talking about.

This is a six track mini album, and it’s chock full of stone cold country gems that really ought to be gracing the upper reaches of the Billboard country chart. Opener, ‘Bandaid On A Bullethole’ has enough attitude, melody and a hint of twang to keep radio programmers happy for ages. It also helps that Brynn is a great singer, which coupled to great songs, arrangements and production leaves you desperate for more. Which is why they invented the repeat button.

A couple of the songs veer a bit too close to pop for comfort, but the big ballad ‘I’m Sorry’ gets away with it, because it’s just so gosh darned heartfelt. Straight up, this is the best thing I’ve heard in mainstream country in a long while, and you really should get yourself a helping sharpish. If you’re one of the colonials over in America, she’s out on tour with Pat Benatar for the whole of June, so get yourself along. - STUARTAHAMILTON- The Rocker

"“Bandaid On A Bullet Hole” Single Reviews"

It’s the perfect song to kick off what is bound to be an epic career. ‘Bandaid On A Bullet Hole’ proves that Brynn Marie is a little sassy, a little country, a little rock and roll, and a whole lot of talent in one seamless package. The tune, which shows off her powerful vocal control and uncanny ability to make a song her own, proves to the masses what her loyal fans have known all along — that she is exactly what the music scene has been looking for. Brynn Marie’s unmistakable delivery captures the listener’s attention from the first word, and draws them in until the last note. Perfect on the radio, on an iPod or live from a concert stage, ‘Bandaid On A Bullet Hole’ is the ideal introduction to the music scene of the undeniable talent that Brynn Marie has to offer, and that the world has been waiting to hear. -Gayle Thompson, AOL’s The Boot.

“Brynn Marie tells it like it is with “Bandaid on a Bullet Hole”. If you’re looking for a pretty country girl singing another slow ballad, don’t play this song. If you want a beautiful country girl to kick you in the teeth. Crank it up!” -Danger Show – Froggy WOGI Pittsburgh

“Brynn Marie is what country radio has been missing since Shania and Faith fell of the radar. Brynn offers a sweet, sassy side of country that no other female voice can deliver. In a cookie-cutter, assembly line industry where there is a new blonde bombshell every week, Brynn Marie shows she has what it takes to not only last in country music, but completely reinvent it. After all, if you’re not evolving, you’re stalling. Her new single, Bandaid on a Bullet Hole, just as the title suggests, will fire her out of the gate and into the hearts of country music fans everywhere. Once the listener falls in love with her energy, her rasp, her muscle, and her charm, there will be no turning back. If you want to make the phones ring, if you want to separate your station from the guys across the street, and if you want to be on the front lines of latest music infantry, add Brynn Marie’s “Bandaid On A Bullet Hole”… or else, spend the next couple months trying to stop the hemorrhaging.” -Charles Chachi Angelo, Program Director, Mo Skeeter — Afternoons Froggy 99 WGGE – Parkersburg - Greene County Messenger
