Bubba's Adventure started in Bettendorf, IA as a simple jam session. After creating the song "Kitty", Alex moved to Chicago and the band went on hiatus. As of now though, over about 200 miles, the band has reformed as has been playing numerous shows in the last half year.
Bubba's Adventure is unique in the fact that each member brings their own style to the table. Alex typically writes simple, garage rock-like guitar parts with soulful, honest singing. Bits of Jimmy Page, Frank Black, Jack White, and Ian MacKaye are shown frequently. Brett brings virtuosic, yet undeniably catchy basslines which can be compared to the work of Flea, Les Claypool, and anything punk rock. Then, when Peter joins the mix, his love of hip hop and rap is mirrored in the bass-snare dominant drum parts that tie everything together. Overall, Bubba's Adventure takes the seperate and makes it one distinct being.
