Bubblegum Phantom is a twenty-something Montreal composer who has a love for the guitar and a penchant for electronic music. His latest collaborative involvement is with the rock band Ileana. He also has a track record of jazz/experimental, hard rock, metal, blues, and punk rock projects. Bubblegum Phantom has been writing with an electronic infusion in his own little corner for atleast 5 years.
His first taste of electronic music was in his early childhood upon discovering popular dance music in the late 80's early 90's. Since then, he eventually took up the guitar, and since his 10th anniversary of picking up the instrument has allowed it to evolve into the strongest and most well-rounded expressive extension of his-self.
With his music, Bubblegum Phantom is striving to create a sound fitting for either soundtracks, radio/compilation playlists, but most importantly an experience for a listener to escape into.
Bubblegum Phantom has always had huge influences from spiritual elements be it philosophy, music, art, film, yoga, tied to many schools of thought such as Tibetan, Oriental, Indian, Native Indian, and others. It is mainly channeled through his guitar and supported by his songs which tie together the sound as a whole.
