Discography

All releases are 100% independant, and made in a garage. Bubbly Joe currently has three seperate EP's - two demo's and one live recording. However, a full length project is in the works, and there is another, unreleased, live recording stashed away somewhere too.

One track off the band's second demo, KFC, recieved radio play two weeks in a row on Planet Radio 107.3 in Jacksonville Florida, and recieved a promotion spot for their 4/20 show with The Mighty Diamonds on the station as well.

Bio

Bubbly Joe began two years ago when Colin, who was born to sing, met a badass slap n pop, Les Claypool style bassist named Kevin and introduced him to Krandall, an acoustic guitarist/songwriter and jam band bassist who had been playing with Colin for 4 years already. From the first jam on, a strong foundation for the band was set. Line-up changes were made and made again, with the band finally settling on an insane heavy-metal drummer in Spencer and a party-starting percussionist with Brian.

The band first showcased their good-time, in your face, make you dance and blow your mind live style at a highschool battle of the bands. They did not win, which is not suprising considering all of the voters (the crowd) went home after their performance, which received a standing ovation.

After that, it was weekly gigs playing Reggae Sundays at a local restaurant called Ragland's. After a few months honing their skills there, Bubbly Joe was booked to play at a Supervillains show in November of 08. This would be their first real, real gig, as well as a huge kick-start to the band's local career.

Since that show, Bubbly Joe has played at 11 different venues in 3 different cities, as well as one music festival, and are currently scheduled to play in 2 new cities as well. They have shared the stage with acts like Mystic Roots, Pato Banton, Zach Deputy, Passafire, Authority Zero, The Mighty Diamonds, Badfish, and The Dirty Heads, and garnered fans from across the country.

The band's influences come from across a wide range of genres and include names like Jimi Hendrix, Rx Bandits, Slayer, Les Claypool, Catch 22, Sublime, The Grateful Dead, People Under the Stairs, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Victor Wooten, Keller Williams, The B Foundation, Slightly Stoopid, Martin, Medeski & Wood, Atmosphere, Led Zeppelin, Tea Leaf Green, Bargain Music, The Ziggens, The Presidents of the United States, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
