Bio
Bryan Bashucky aka Bubblz was born and raised in Winnipegs’ North-End. This Hip-Hop performer / entrepreneur is the Co-Founder and part-owner of one of Winnipeg’s most successful underground Hip Hop Labels; Heatbag Records.
Bubblz was inspired as a youth by the musical stylings of Tu-Pac and Snoop Dog. This troubled youth spent a lot of his time and energy studying the work and lyrics of those he admired. In spite of Spending his younger days in and out of trouble with the law, Bubblz now remains focused on his music career and his retail clothing store. His unique style and clever word play brings him a step above most artists in todays music industy. His metaphors and similes mixed with multi rhyming leaves both him and his fans gasping for air. Suggestively being compared to Big Pun, Bubblz has more rhyme and reasons then the 1997 hip hop documentary rhyme and reason. His powerful detailed verses take you beyond rap thru the dark nights and cold days of Winnipeg’s inner city.
With the current success of Heatbag Records, Bubblz is keeping the buzz hot with his new solo album titled “ Self Portrait “ set for release June 27th 2009 ,The album is a deep reflection of who he is and where he’s going. He currently has his first album single out with a video (Tha Way That You Move)
The track features Winnipeg Recording Artist Real. The independent video was filmed and produced by Absurd Machine Films, and the video is set to be released to Much Music early this summer.
