Bucharest is an Indie-Rock Band from Tel-Aviv, Israel founded in 2012. The music of Bucharest combines the duality of "The Smiths", the energy of "Talking Heads" and
the dreamy sound of contemporary bands such as "Beach House" and "Grizzly Bear".
Bucharest's songs reflecting on vulnerability and restlessness on a backdrop of thrilling Rock and Roll that gets hold of your body and refuses to let go.
Between longing for the Past and anxiety towards the Future, Bucharest creates a deeply intense and accurate Present where both desperation and humor can co-exist.
The Band members are: Danny Finkenthal, Guy Cohavi, Yaniv Horovitz and Yoni Lifshitz.
After working intensely for one year, Bucharest recorded their debut album with former band member Joni Snow (Drummer of Asaf Avidan and the Mojos).
Bucharest released their debut album on the 10th of October 2013.
Since it's release, the album has been getting incredible reviews which translated itself into sold out shows all across the country and an invitation to perform in front of a crowd of 7000 people in Israel's largest indie festival (In-D-Negev).
