Bio
Buck Buckley and Patrice Eastham write and perform music in the American roots tradition. A Georgia native, Buck's talent as a singer became evident at an early age in his performances with the renowned Atlanta Boys Choir. His tastes have since expanded to include everything from gospel to rock and roll, always with a strong connection to American roots. Patrice Eastham was born in Arkansas and has lived all around the Southeast. She started out as the "girl singer" for party band "Two Dollar Shoes" in 1997. Buck and Patrice began singing together in 1999, and it soon became clear that the partnership was meant to be. The blend of Buck's clear, expressive vocal style (think Jackson Brown) and Patrice's unaffected country soul is truly a magical combination. Whether performing their lyrical, tightly rendered material or covers of artists they admire, it is their signature vocal harmonies that create their unique sound.
Some influences are: Buddy and Julie Miller, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings.
