"Buckeye Knoll will "Blow you away and leave you in chills""

Buckeye Knoll is the creative outlet for the extremely talented Doug Streblow, who has a voice that at its best will blow you away and leave you in chills. The songs definitely get stronger as the album progresses, climaxing at the beautiful horn and keys led ballad "When You're Gone". The whole album is worth checking out, as every song has its own redeeming qualities. - Muzik Dizcovery

"Buckeye Knoll Warms the Heart"

"I firmly believe Buckeye Knoll could easily melt any girl's heart and buckle her knees. The clarity of the vocals and instruments in this band's soul pop, acoustic-guitar-infused tunes is astounding." -Shuffle On 10/22/10

"Authentic California Folk Music from Buckeye Knoll"

“Blending pop melodies with country rhythms, the record truly is genre bending.”-One Night Music 5/11/10 - One Night Music

"Buckeye Knoll plays like Kerouac Reads"

“If Kerouac’s On the Road had a score, People and Place would be a strong frontrunner. For any fans of folk, indie, country, or just a heartfelt album filled with nostalgia and hope, Buckeye Knoll is the right band to listen to.”-Unsigned Find 5/25/10 - Unsigned Find

"Local Licks"

"Its latest release, People and Place, contains gentle, pretty pop rock songs with a twangy edge and rootsy tendencies (think Crosby Stills and Nash)." - East Bay Express

"Where the Wild Things Are"

"There’s no doubt that Streblow is a pop-punk kid at heart. His strident, earnest vocals have emo written all over them. But for Buckeye Knoll, Streblow’s pop instinct is tempered with an appealing folksiness. The woods can make you wiser, but they can also make you more feral. We’re digging the combination." - Ourstage

"Buckeye Knoll "Unforgettable""

"Streblow is the real deal, blessed with an expressive voice and solid guitar skills. But, in the end, what makes the album unforgettable are the song lyrics"- -The San Francisco Chronicle 8/8/10

The Wing EP (EP) Self Released 04/20/2007

Buckeye Knoll emerged from months spent backpacking in the wilderness of California. Songwriter Doug Streblow carried with him a notebook and acoustic guitar and weaved stories into melodies into songs that would become their debut full length album "People and Place". Released in the Spring of 2010, the release received flattering praise from a wide array of media outlets including the SF Chronicle calling Streblow and the album "The Real Deal" and "Unforgettable". Buckeye Knoll hit the road in support of the release playing over 70 shows in just over a year including a 2 week tour down to SXSW 2011 in Austin, TX.

This Fall the band is heading up to a 300 acre ranch near Yosemite to set up a studio in a large remote cabin to create the follow up record to "People and Place". Engineer and longtime friend of the band, Cian Riordan (Taking Back Sunday, John Cragie, Man/Miracle) will be taking on the role of producer and Eric Valentine (All American Rejects, Nickel Creek, Third Eye Blind) is set to master.

The yet to be titled second full length album will be released in the Summer of 2012 accompanied by a full US tour including another stop at the SXSW festival in Austin.
